Rema expresses grief over the passing of Don Jazzy’s mum
Nigerian singer, Divine Ikubor, popularly known as Rema, is deeply saddened by the passing of Don Jazzy’s mother.
Mr Don Jazzy, a music entrepreneur and the founder of Marvin Records, announced to Nigerians a few hours ago that his beloved mother had died of cancer.
Rema, his ex-signee, responded by regretting the news and mourning with a post on his Instagram account.
“Mama, I’ll miss you,” the singer wrote.
“I lost my darling mother this morning,” Don Jazzy said of his mother’s death. Our family’s matriarch. @indianpicolo is my backbone and supporter.
“I am completely devastated. I’ve never felt such sadness in my life, yet I’m comforted by the excellent life she enjoyed. Everyone who ever met her adored her. Even though she was battling cancer, she remained there for us till the very end.
“I’ve never penned a caption more tough in my life.” Please pray for our mother’s soul to rest in peace and for my father, brothers, her grandkids, and our entire family to remain strong in the face of this tragedy.”
