On social media, the pair continually criticized one another while the general election campaigns for 2023 went on.
In response to this, Ibrahim Chatta used social media to warn the two to desist from using political rhetoric to polarize us, saying that Nigeria doesn’t need them.
In his word, he wrote:
We are Nigerians of blessed most populous black nation in the world. NIGERIA belongs to all of US, Rich, Poor, Powerful and Weak.
So Dear #femifanikayode and #dinomelaye pls stop trying to divide us with your hate speeches through politicking, you people must know that the last thing we need right now is division along Religions, Ethnic and Party lines. Yes we may share different opinions, beliefs and views, these are what makes us Human.
And to all Nigerians, most especially the youths of this Noble country of ours. Please don’t accept to be used against yourselves, let people follow and vote for the party and candidates of their choice.
We all owe This Great Nation Nigeria the PEACE that she DESERVES.
God bless NIGERIA
