Renowned Nigerian musician, composer, and DMW CEO Davido will perform at the 2022 FIFA World Cup’s closing ceremony, which will be held in Qatar.
The Qatar World Cup song “Hayya Hayya (Happy Together)” will be performed by Davido, Trinidadian singer Cardona, and Qatari singer Aisha during the closing ceremony, which is scheduled to occur on Sunday.
Recall that Ifeanyi Adeleke, Davido’s first son and third child, drowned to death on October 31, 2022.
The 3-year-old boy perished in his father’s private pool at his Banana Island home. Police questioned the singer’s domestic helpers and housekeepers.
Eight household workers were invited to the police station for questioning after one had initially gone to the police station to recount the drowning incident of Ifeanyi.
After thorough investigations, six were finally released by the police as they were not found culpable, with two still in detention.
We’re delighted that he’s over it now and ready to shut down the stage again.
