As her daughter celebrates her birthday today, Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi’s fourth wife, Olori Ashley, has lavished her with kind words.
The royal wife posted a celebration of her little one, whom she referred to as her pride and joy, on her Instagram story.
She expressed her appreciation for having her and her pride in her.
She wrote, “I’m grateful my daughter chose me to be her mother.
“Omoba my treasure, my pride and joy. I am thankful everyday for you my beautiful angel, you make me so proud. Thank you for choosing me as your Mother”.
Olori Ashley’s daughter’s birthday is coming days after, the Ooni’s son’s birthday.

On November 18, 2022, the monarch’s only child, Prince Tadenikawo, turned 2 years old.
His mother, the Ooni’s estranged wife, had lavished attention on him for his birthday.
Queen Naomi shut down Akure as she threw a magnificent celebration for him to mark his special day.
The little heir was given a party with a Jungle Safari theme, similar to the actor Rosy Meurer’s son’s birthday celebration.
Seyi, the younger sister of Queen Naomi, posted videos from the birthday celebration on her Instagram page.
However, the Ooni missed his birthday and neglected to post a birthday message on his Instagram account.
Ooni celebrates daughter’s birthday
This is surprising as in April, the Ooni made headlines when he publicly celebrated the first birthday of a daughter he welcomed with one of his concubines.
Recall that his ex-wife, Queen Naomi had revealed that the monarch had other women in the palace.
The Ooni had proven it to be true as he celebrated his daughter in style.
Taking to his Instagram page, he wrote,
“Princess Adebukunmi Adeife is 1 year old today. Almighty God will grant you a long life to fulfill your destiny in the world. You keep my memory well refreshed of my mother of blessed memory as you are truly her reincarnation. Lots of love Mama Adebuks”.
