While storming the castle of the Ooni of Ife, Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing announced her new name.
The actress, who has been applying to be one of the King’s wives, posted gorgeous pictures of herself at the castle on her Instagram page.
Nkechi Blessing welcomed her admirers and instructed them to address her as Olori Ibukunoluwa.

Nkechi Blessing requests to marry Ooni
Remember how Nkechi Blessing Sunday applied to be the Ooni of Ife’s wife in October?
The gifted actress posted a video of herself and the monarch on Instagram.
She would eagerly await her chance to become the Ooni’s next wife, according to Nkechi Blessing.
The mother of one gave the Ooni access to her Instagram page so he could contact her there.

In a subsequent post on her verified Instagram page 8, the contentious actress shared a photo of herself dressed entirely in white, as if she were a newlywed.
She stated in her caption that she still hopes to marry an Ooni of Ife.

Her request was made after the Ooni’s several marriages.
When the monarch married seven ladies in the span of two months, many people were startled.
Nine months after Prophetess Seyi Naomi declared on Instagram that she was divorcing the Ooni of Ife, in September 2022, he invited Mariam Anako, an Ebira-born queen, to his castle on the island of Ife. He had married six additional women in the three weeks following the birth of Mariam.
Mariam Anako and Dr. Elizabeth Akinmuda were married by the queen in September.
He wedded Queen Ashley, Queen Ronke Ademiluyi, and Queen Tobi Phillips in October.
He currently has Princess Temitope Adesegun as his sixth wife, and he will soon wed a seventh.
The Ooni explained his reasoning for marrying Mariam Anako and the other women as he celebrated his 48th birthday and seventh coronation anniversary.
The Ooni indicated that he attempted to make several adjustments but was unable. The monarch, perhaps alluding to his choice to have concubines in addition to a single queen, declared of Ile Ife’s cultural history, “This institution is bigger than me, beyond me.
