Kaffy: Despite pain, I keep winning

Kafayat Oluwatoyin Shafau or Kaffy, a well-known Nigerian dancer and choreographer, has stated that despite betrayals and hardships, she has continued to grow in all aspects of her life.
The single mother of two revealed this during an Instagram live, stating that she has been on a five-year recovery journey.
“It’s really essential to be appreciative,” she remarked. “Do you know that through all the agony and betrayal I’ve gone through, I’ve always won?” I’ve always been surrounded by love, progress, professional advancement, and gorgeous people.
Suffering is heartbreaking, betrayal, divorce, I have gone through all of this so those of you who know my experience, grief is so devastating that individuals who are causing you pain do not realize how awful it is.
There are some pains I’ve had for some individuals that I don’t even pray back for them because if they were the one experiencing it, they would have died, but God pruned me.”
In January 2022, the 42-year-old opened up about her divorce and other issues in her marriage after publishing a book on her life and marriage.
