BBN’s Boma recounts how he survived an inf#ction that nearly [email protected] his brain and made him blind
Boma from Big Brother Nigeria explained how he survived an inf#ction that nearly [email protected] his head and rendered him blind.
He stated that on December 2, 2020, he contracted COVID-19, which caused me to suffer from severe sinus infaction.
Prior to then, he had never had sinus problems that lasted longer than three days.
He then became incredibly busy in the United States, moving from one film shoot to another, when he returned to Nigeria and stayed for another 6 months due to being on Big Brother Naija and other important tasks he had to attend.
After that, he chose to return to New York, all the while the sinus condition hasn’t provided him any relief over a year after he went to see an allergist, and between January and March 2021, he had a slew of doctor’s appointments and tests, with the scan findings being particularly awful. He was only inhaling via my left nose because half of my right face/nostril was obstructed.
At this point, he awoke every day with mucous from my right nostril. At this time, his only alternative was to have the surgery indicated by his doctor, which was scheduled on April 12. When he unexpectedly landed a movie part in Nigeria and filming began on April 8, my team and I agreed to postpone the operation until after the shoot.
The reunion date was also scheduled when he was in Nigeria, so he killed two birds with one stone.
As soon as the final episode was over, he boarded the next aircraft back to New York City on May 7, to prepare for his surgery on May 13.
