Banky Wellington, a Nollywood actor and politician, is the father of Hazaiah Olusegun “Champ” Wellington.
It wasn’t until March that Banky W and his actress wife, Adesua Etomi, let the world see their son.
The couple, who had hidden their son since his birth, took to Instagram to share adorable photos of him in honor of National Son’s Day.

Banky-W is a well-known Nigerian rap artist, singer, actor, and musician. Olubankole Wellington is his given name.
He was born in the United States on March 27, 1981, to Nigerian parents. His family, however, returned to Nigeria when he was five years old. He began singing in his church choir at a young age. His primary and secondary school education were in Lagos, and he returned to the United States to pursue his tertiary education as an Engineering student on a scholarship at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in New York.

Adesua’s background in theatre has helped her hone her acting skills. Nollywood’s leading lady is often described as the “Rom-Com Queen” of Nigeria. Adesua Etomi was born on February 22, 1986. While there has been some confusion about her age, with some publications claiming she was born in 1988, Adesua confirmed she is 33 in a birthday post earlier this year.
Adesua Etomi has come a long way since her debut in Knocking on Heaven’s Door, her first feature film.
Since then, she has appeared in over ten films and has won numerous awards, including ‘Actress of the Year: Big Screen’ at the 2015 ELOY Awards.
Adesua began her acting career in the theater and is one of the few actresses who can play a comedic role in one film and a dramatic role in the next.
