Odunlade Adekola is a Nollywood actor, producer and film director, he has a son as his firstborn who looks exactly like him.
Adekola was born and raised in Abeokuta, where he received his First School Leaving Certificate at Saint John RCM Primary School. After finishing elementary school and receiving his West African Senior School Certificate, he enrolled at Saint Peter’s College in Abeokuta. He continued his education at Moshood Abiola Polytechnic in Abeokuta, where he received a national diploma certificate.
Odunlade Adekola Career
Adekola started acting when she was a child. He claimed that whenever his church celebrated an anniversary, he and his companion Tunde would make a request to play jesters, which was always granted.
After that, he’d write a “script” for a two-character comedic play.
He began his professional career in 1996. The same year, he joined the Association of Nigeria Theatre Arts Practitioners and was mentored by late Nollywood actor and producer Isola Durojaiye, well known as Alasari.
Yoruba films in which he has performed, written, produced, and directed include Omo Colonel, Aroba, Oro, Sunday Dagboru, Monday omo adugbo, Taxi Driver: Oko Ashewo, Eku Meji, Kurukuru, Sunday gboku gboku, Adura, and others.
According to Wikipedia, the actor hails from Otun Ekiti in Ekiti State but was born on December 31, 1976, at Abeokuta, the Ogun State Capital.
